Apple’s fall event: New Mac and iPad mini coming
On November 1, Apple will launch new Macs with the next generation of M4 processors. In addition to the M4 14-inch MacBook Pro, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by the more powerful M4 Pro and M4 Max processors will be introduced to appeal to the relatively mid-range.
An iMac with the M4 processor is also expected. Rounding out the Mac updates will be a refreshed Mac mini in both M4 and M4 Pro configurations. Gurman notes that Apple will also launch a new iPad mini at the upcoming launch. The seventh-generation iPad mini could receive some improvements in performance and design.
Gurman also shed light on next year’s plans. Accordingly, the 13-inch and 15-inch M4 MacBook Air will be available in the first half of the year. iPhone SE, 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air and new Magic Keyboards may also be on the way.
Mac Studio and Mac Pro models are also in development for now. However, it was stated that these devices could be released in the coming years. Of course, as always, new iPhones and Macs will continue the cycle in the fall.
